Hildebrand handed City chance
Former Germany goalkeeper Timo Hildebrand has linked up with Manchester City on their pre-season tour of America.[LNB] City have just sold their number two Shay Given to Aston Villa and Roberto Mancini wants experienced cover for Joe Hart.[LNB]He is now giving 32-year-old Hildebrand the chance to earn a move to Eastlands and he and his coaches are running the rule over him.[LNB]Hildebrand, who won the last of his seven Germany caps in 2007, is currently a free agent after leaving Sporting Lisbon after just one season in Portugal. [LNB]He has previously played for Stuttgart, Hoffenheim and Valencia and could be an ideal understudy for Hart.
