HATCHET MAN: City midfielder Johnson times his return to fitness just in time to be sold in the summ
Michael Johnson is apparently close to a return to the Manchester City team after mysterious pelvic problems have kept him out since last September.
But if he can't provide enough cut and thrust on the pitch he could well be one of those heading for the Eastlands exit in the summer.
Johnson, apparently, has not always had the best of attitudes and will face even tougher competition for places next season.
So if the midfielder does return in the UEFA Cup against Hamburg next week he will need to prove he is worth the aggro.
