HATCHET MAN: Axe Robinho, let him sulk and rage then sell him - the only way Manchester City can rec

If Mark Hughes leaves Robinho out of his Manchester City team at Arsenal there is unlikely to be much of an uproar. The Brazilian has been a flop away from Eastlands but how he responds if he is dropped will be interesting. So far he has seemed to have had an ambivalent attitude - at best - to the club who paid £34 million for him last summer. He has looked like a thoroughly selfish player who cares little for the team or their supporters. So now he faces a big test: will he respond by working harder and coming back stronger? It is more likely he will spit his dummy out and prove once and for all he is a spoilt star, paving the way for his exit. And that would be no bad thing.
