The Blues keeper admits he lost the feeling in his hands before trying to keep out Matthew Etherington?s late equaliser at Stoke on Saturday. And the two points dropped, after Micah Richards had fired them ahead with nine minutes left, saw City lose ground on United and Arsenal at the head of the Premier League table. Hart got a hand to Etherington?s shot but could not keep it out and afterwards reflected that the sub-zero temperatures may have played a part. ?I could barely feel my hands so I don?t know how much I got on the ball but I couldn?t keep it out,? he said. Hart said he had enjoyed the hurly-burly of a typical encounter with Stoke, even though the late goal had cost City what would have been a big win. ?It was good fun ? I really love going and playing there,? he said. ?They?re a great side to play against if you?re a goalkeeper who likes that kind of thing. ?I enjoyed it and we got through it ? it was just a shame about the last couple of seconds. The lads weren?t great in the first half but in the second half we showed what a good side we are. ?It wasn?t about showing character but about showing who we are. We are a good strong side with good players, strong both physically and football-wise.? Where will City finish? Have your say.
