Hargreaves in 'good shape'

Owen Hargreaves is expected to be fully fit after the international break and could make his Manchester City league debut against Aston Villa.[LNB] The injury-plagued former Manchester United midfielder marked his first appearance for City with a goal in the Carling Cup win over Birmingham.[LNB]Hargreaves is expected to benefit from two behind-closed-doors friendlies during the international break and City coach David Platt then expects the player to be match-fit.[LNB]Villa visit the Etihad Stadium on October 15 and Hargreaves, who has not played a competitive 90 minutes for more than three years, is likely to be involved.[LNB]"He's in good shape," said Platt in the Manchester Evening News. [LNB]"When the boys get back from the international break, Owen should be there or thereabouts with his own full pre-season under him."
