Roberto Mancini has played down his confrontation with Everton boss David Boss towards the end of the match at Eastland on Wednesday night. Mancini and Moyes were both sent to the stands by referee Peter Walton after a confrontation which saw the City boss try to wrestle the ball from Moyes five minutes from the end of City's 2-0 defeat. "I speak to David and if I make a mistake I am sorry," said Mancini. "I only wanted to get the ball back as there was five minutes to the end. "It is not imporant, it was nothing, it is finished. "The referee sent us off. I am not aggressive, I was only trying to get the ball."
