Tevez, whose apologetic celebration following his first goal earned praise from Zola and the applause of the West Ham supporters, scored twice against his former club as City climbed to fifth in the table. [LNB]But West Ham's limp display contributed to the home side's comfortable victory and Zola admitted that everyone at Upton Park must now assess their contribution following their fourth defeat in six league games this season. Everyone, including myself, is not doing what they are capable of. [LNB]"The way they train is fantastic but we have to do it on the pitch now. The first half was not good enough. You cannot afford to come to places like this and give presents to the opposition. They are too good and will take advantage. [LNB]"We are better than our position suggests but we haven't been able to show it. It's not good enough. But I know the potential of these players and I'm sure we'll soon be in the position we deserve. [LNB]"At the moment it's not good enough, though, and we need to ask ourselves some questions." [LNB]West Ham were unfortunate to have a seemingly legitimate goal by Scott Parker ruled out for a Carlton Cole foul on City defender Joleon Lescott shortly before half-time. [LNB]Had it stood, the goal would have taken the score to 2-2, but Zola refused to condemn referee Chris Foy and his assistants. [LNB]He said: "Maybe there were a couple of mistakes from the referee, but that's just part of the game. [LNB]"I was really impressed with City, though. They were really good and have some outstanding qualities. [LNB]"If they can continue to play to these kind of standards, they will be up there challenging for the top four." [LNB]City moved level on point with fourth-placed Tottenham with the victory and continued their 100 per cent record at Eastlands so far this season. [LNB]And manager Hughes admitted that the result and performance proved that his team has overcome the disappointment of the dramatic 4-3 derby defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford nine days ago. [LNB]Hughes said: "The derby was a big game, but we move on. Maybe we had a bit of reaction against Fulham in the Carling Cup last week because of the extreme nature of the game against United, but this was a big game and the players produced a big performance. [LNB]"Some of our play was excellent, from start to finish. We showed real purpose to get the job done." [LNB]Hughes added: "We feel that not being in Europe is an advantage for us. At the time, we were disappointed not to qualify last season, but on reflection, we now believe it is probably a good thing for us." [LNB]Hughes, meanwhile, insisted that defender Micah Richards can reclaim his first-team spot at Eastlands after being dropped in favour of Argentina international Pablo Zabaleta. [LNB]Hughes said: "Zabaleta did really well against Fulham last week, so I felt he deserved to stay in the team for this game. [LNB]"But Micah knows he is going to play many more games for us this season." [LNB]
