And I think he is going to win a few more caps for his country than Big Joe did! Joe Corrigan always felt he should have been given more chances than he was with England ? but Peter Shilton and Ray Clemence were always ahead of him in the queue. I don?t think that Hart has anywhere near that much competition, though. Robert Green, Paul Robinson and Ben Foster have all had their nightmare moments, whereas Hart has been so consistent. It?s a sign of City?s strength that they have six players in the England squad ? more than any other Premier League side. And it was great to see one of the other five, Adam Johnson, get his first goal for his country. Let?s hope it?s the first of many. City?s squad has now been finalised following the closing of the transfer window, and Robinho has gone to AC Milan. I felt he was outstanding during his first half-season with us. But too many times, he only showed his best form when he had a Brazil shirt on. It?s an exciting time to be at City, and I can?t see any footballing reason why he wouldn?t want to be a part of it. But he just didn?t settle here. The Premier League is a physically demanding competition, and he has hinted that he didn?t take to the climate either.
