Fulham will pay £4m for Shaun Wright-Phillips if they stay up

Shaun Wright-Phillips is close to agreeing a move to Fulham whichwill see the England winger join on loan before signing on a permanentbasis in the summer. [LNB]City, who originally wanted a transfer fee for Wright-Phillips thismonth, have offered Fulham a compromise whereby the Londoners will paya £4million transfer fee in the summer provided they stay in thePremier League. [LNB]Fulham are reluctant to pay City a fee while their top-flight statusis in jeopardy but manager Mark Hughes is keen to be reunited with the29-year-old, who he worked with while boss at Eastlands.[LNB]On the way out: Shaun Wright-Phillips is heading to Fulham[LNB]Hughes is also keen to sign former Fulham defender Paul Koncheskyand return him to the club after his unhappy six-month spell atLiverpool and the move will happen if Fulham can offload Mexicanleft-back Carlos Salcido. [LNB]After a bright start to his Craven Cottage career, Salcido has lost his place to Chris Baird. [LNB]The Fulham manager is also looking to add a striker after missing out on Roque Santa Cruz. [LNB]Should Konchesky leave Anfield, Liverpool's interim manager KennyDalglish will take Aston Villa defender Stephen Warnock on loan for therest of the season. [LNB]Warnock was part of England's squad at last year's World Cup but hasbeen frozen out at Villa Park by Gerard Houllier and fancies a returnto Liverpool, where he started his career.
