Foxes land McGivern
Skysports.com understands that Manchester City youngster Ryan McGivern has joined Leicester on loan.
The 19-year-old defender is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future after coming through the ranks at Man City.
He signed a new deal with the Premier League club in the spring to keep him at Eastlands until 2012.
But with no imminent prospect of first-team football, Man City have allowed McGivern to link up with Leicester on loan.
He will stay with the Foxes until January and could make his debut
in Monday night's Championship clash against Newcastle.
Leicester have been looking for a new left-back since Joe Mattock secured a move to West Brom earlier this month.
