Manchester City splashed out £34million on Robinho but for just a little more you can now buy an entire Barclays Premier League club - Portsmouth.Pompey owner Sacha Gaydamak, who is desperate to sell up, has slashed his asking price to £35million, according to The Sun. Gaydamak has cut the figure in half after executive chairman PeterStorrie, who is in talks with two bidders, revealed the club face atough summer as they bid to wipe out their £40m debts. 'If we do not get a new buyer by next season it does not bear thinking about,' said Storrie. 'It has been a nightmare. 'From when Sacha told me he could not put any more money in and had to sell, we were really working on keeping the club going. 'We had £12.5m left to pay on transfer deals and had to sell players.' Gaydamak had previously demanded £70m for Portsmouth but they are now in the same bracket as Robinho, who joined City for a British record fee last summer.Storrie revealed they have already snubbed a bid headed by former Spurs defender Ramon Vega. 'We laughed him out of the city,' he said. 'He wanted to pay £1 but would not take on the club's loans and said if Sacha Gaydamak wanted his loan money back he would have to sell players and take it from that. 'It would have been an unmitigated disaster.'
