Walter Smith has confirmed John Fleck has returned to Rangers' first-team squad and is likely to face Manchester City on Wednesday night.[LNB] Fleck, 17, was dropped to the reserves at the weekend, reportedly following a bust-up with assistant boss Ally McCoist.[LNB] Smith said on the club's official website, www.rangers.co.uk: "John is back with us and he will be involved in the Manchester City match."[LNB] Smith insisted the young star was left out of the Emirates Cup squad for a different reason, with the club confirming on Tuesday the manager was "unhappy" with the player's attitude.[LNB] Fleck responded to being axed by scoring twice in the reserves' 6-1 win over Portadown and also played against Glentoran.[LNB] He was back in the first-team fold at Murray Park on Tuesday and is set to play in Wednesday's friendly against City at Ibrox.
