Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given feels fellow new signing Craig Bellamy's 'fiery character' will benefit the club this season.[LNB] Bellamy, like Given, arrived at Eastlands in the winter transfer window, with manager Mark Hughes hopeful the additions will ensure the club climbs the Premier League table.[LNB]City have improved of late, winning four of their last six Premier League games, while Bellamy has netted in both of his appearances at the City of Manchester Stadium.[LNB]And Given has praised his former Newcastle United team-mate's confrontational style.[LNB]The shot-stopper said in The Sun: "When we were at Newcastle we had a spat down the tunnel once.[LNB]"But you know what he's like, always complaining about something. It's just the way he is.[LNB]"Craig's a fiery character and you want that from people on the pitch. He demands the best of all the players which is a good trait to have.[LNB]"He demands people give their all and I think that's a good thing. I'd much prefer him on my team than on the opposition."[LNB]
