Evans still a target - Blackwell
Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has confirmed that the Blades are still in the hunt for Manchester City striker Ched Evans.[LNB]United were first linked with the Wales international earlier in the summer and Blackwell admits he is still interested in bringing the youngster to Bramall Lane.[LNB]He told the club`s official website: "We are still looking at that one and have put in a couple of bids with Premier League clubs but, like us, they have only just come back so they will try and make their own signings before making decisions.[LNB]"But we have expressed out interest."[LNB]Meanwhile second-string goalkeeper Ian Bennett has signed a one-year extension to his Bramall Lane contract.
