Elano ponders City exit

Manchester City midfielder Elano admits he may leave the club if he does not receive reassurances over his future. The 27-year-old has grown increasingly frustrated at not being a regular under manager Mark Hughes and has been strongly linked with a move to Inter Milan. Gareth Barry has already joined the club this summer and with City set to continue spending, Elano could be set to leave. "I had a meeting with the board and I asked about the signings they are going to make and whether there was still a place for me in the setup," he said. "I just asked them to be straight with me. If I can renew my contract now, I'll stay. If not, I want to leave and look for another club."
