Dunne happy with Barry arrival
Manchester City captain Richard Dunne has welcomed the signing of Gareth Barry.[LNB] Barry completed a whirlwind move to City on Tuesday after Aston Villa accepted an offer of £12million for the midfielder.[LNB]The England international is Mark Hughes' first signing of the summer and Dunne hopes Barry can enhance the club's prospects of challenging the top four.[LNB]"I think any player of his quality will fit in," said Dunne.[LNB]"He's obviously been linked with Liverpool over the last year or so, so he is a top-quality player and I think that's what the manager's been looking to bring in.[LNB]"Hopefully he can be a member of the squad who can push us further up the league."[LNB]
