Drogba: Too early to judge City

Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has warned Manchester City they are not guaranteed of success and should not get carried away by their start.[LNB] City have had grand ambitions ever since being taken over by Sheikh Mansour a couple of years ago and results have steadily improved.[LNB]However, they missed out on a place in the top four of the Premier League last season and have been warned by Drogba that their latest spending spree guarantees nothing.[LNB]"Money cannot guarantee success in football," the Ivorian told The Sun.[LNB]"City paid a lot for players last season but did not make the Champions League. [LNB]"They have a better squad now and will be dangerous - but it is still too early to judge their chances."[LNB]Chelsea have started the new season in stunning form, demolishing West Brom 6-0 at home before beating Wigan by the same scoreline at the DW Stadium.[LNB]Drogba believes the Blues have developed a 'perfect system' that frightens opponents, but insists the key is hard work on the training ground.[LNB]"We create such a sensation of fear in our opponents' penalty area - and that really helps us score," he explained.[LNB]"We have developed a perfect system. We practise so many different situations thousands of times in training so it becomes automatic in games. [LNB]"It may look easy - but the secret is work, work and more work each day. [LNB]"And, while Ancelotti is an Italian coach, we do not play a defensive Italian style. [LNB]"That is how we were successful last season so there is no reason to change."
