Drogba agent can't rule out transfer surprise

Didier Drogba's agent Thierno Seydi, who claims to have had contact with Manchester City about the Chelsea star, has warned there might be "surprises" before the end of the transfer window. Drogba, 32, enjoyed a spectacular season last campaign, finishing as the Barclays Premier League top goalscorer as his 29 goals helped Chelsea win back the title. Seydi admits Drogba is happy at Stamford Bridge and is unlikely to leave but would not rule out the possibility of a move. "Today he is at Chelsea," Seydi told French radio station RMC. "There might be surprises before August 31. "I have not talked to just anybody. The only contact I have had directly, was Manchester City. "But at the moment we remain on the status quo. We're listening to everyone, but to separate Didier from Chelsea is not a simple affair, because all the conditions are met for him to flourish there. At his age I can't hide the financial aspect. The club which wants Didier will have to put up the money."
