Oldham have secured an extension to Reece Wabara's loan from Manchester City for a further month.
The England Under-20 international will remain at Boundary Park after impressing for Paul Dickov's side. Wabara's initial loan was due to end after Saturday's npower League One home match against Leyton Orient.
Dickov's attentions are now expected to turn towards extending striker Matt Derbyshire's loan from Nottingham Forest.
