Dickov calls for City support

Former Manchester City striker Paul Dickov is urging Blues fans to adopt Oldham as their second team.[LNB] With City facing Wolves at Molinuex on the same day as Oldham's clash against Plymouth Argyle, Dickov is appealing to fans in need of a 'football fix' to head to Boundary Park and show some support to the team he now manages.[LNB]Season-ticket holders are even being offered half-price tickets in an attempt to add to the attraction and Dickov told mcfc.co.uk: "I had a fantastic time at City and had a special bond with the fans during my time at the club.[LNB]"It is difficult for clubs at this level to survive and we would appreciate the support of City fans.[LNB]"I am sure they will be in for a pleasant surprise as we have a young and enthusiastic team and have been playing some good football."
