De Jong recalled to Holland squad just four months after horror tackle on Ben Arfa

Manchester City bad boy Nigel De Jong has been recalled to the Holland squad for the first time since his horror tackle on Newcastle's Hatem Ben Arfa.[LNB]Holland coach Bert van Marwijk has named De Jong in his 25-man preliminary squad as the World Cup finalists prepare to take on Austria in a friendly next month.[LNB]De Jong missed the Euro 2012 qualifying wins over Moldova and Sweden, but he has now been given another chance in the national team.[LNB] Axed: Nigel De Jong (right) was left out of the Holland squad after he broke Hatem Ben Arfa's leg with this challenge[LNB]Van Marwijk dropped 26-year-old De Jong last October following his challenge on Ben Arfa, which left the winger with a double leg break.[LNB]That tackle was the final straw for Van Marwijk as it came just a few months after De Jong's notorious kick on Xabi Alonso in the World Cup final.[LNB]But Van Marwijk has remained true to his word after saying in October: 'We have had a good talk about the situation.
