Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong has made no attempt to apologise to injured Hatem Ben Arfa, according to the Newcastle star's agent.[LNB] De Jong's challenge on Ben Arfa in City's 2-1 Premier League victory over the Magpies on October 3 broke the Frenchman's leg in two places.[LNB]The tough-tackling Holland international has been roundly criticised following the incident, but ex-QPR striker Simon Stainrod, who advises Ben Arfa, has told the Daily Star Sunday that no there has been "no contact" between the players.[LNB]"De Jong hasn't been in touch at all," complained Stainrod.[LNB]"Brian Marwood, who is a top-class professional person, sent a note from Manchester City saying everyone wished him a speedy recovery and sent a gift - but that's it.[LNB]"A visit from De Jong wasn't put to him. Brian wanted to visit but Hatem was on morphine at the time.[LNB]"The facts of the matter are he hasn't been in touch and he hasn't apologised. Brian Marwood has been in touch, but not de Jong."
