De Jong doubtful for Kiev clash
Manchester City will hand a late fitness test to Nigel de Jong ahead of their Europa League last-16 tie with Dynamo Kiev at Eastlands.
De Jong is battling to overcome an ankle problem, but Adam Johnson will not be risked despite returning to training after an ankle injury of his own that has ruled him out for seven weeks.
James Milner will return from a hamstring injury as City try to overturn a two-goal deficit.
However, the best that England midfielder Milner can hope for is a place on the substitutes' bench after making just four appearances since the end of January.
