David Luiz set for transfer tussle as Benfica invite bids from Manchester City and Chelsea

Benfica hope to tempt Chelsea and Manchester City into a January move for defender David Luiz. [LNB]It is claimed that the Portuguese champions are ready to cash in on the Brazil centre half amid an increasingly strained relationship between Luiz and his Stadium of Light bosses. [LNB]Portuguese newspaper Record reports that Luiz was unhappy when Benfica rejected a bid from Manchester City in the summer, but sold Ramires to Chelsea and Angel di Maria to Real Madrid. [LNB]He is currently tied down till 2015, with a release clause set at a prohibitive £42.5million, but bids in excess of £25m might be enough in January.
