Dale boss signs up young striker

Rochdale manager Keith Hill has handed young striker Jack Redshaw a one-year deal following his release by Manchester City.[LNB] The 19-year-old striker spent 10 years at City and scored regularly for the youth teams.[LNB]Redshaw joins fellow recent new recruits Brian Barry-Murphy and Joe Widdowson at Spotland as Hill's newly-promoted side gear up for an assault on League One.[LNB]Hill said: "Jack has a fantastic pedigree and is a natural goalscorer.[LNB]"This is the type of move which will benefit him at this time as he makes the transition into the man's game that is League Football."
