The 6ft left-back knows he has plenty of work to do ? with Wayne Bridge blocking his path to the first team at Eastlands. And with Roberto Mancini looking to strength his squad over the summer, there may be even more competition for the full-back slot by the time next season kicks off. But 19-year-old Cunningham is on a high after impressing for the Republic of Ireland on Friday night as they beat Algeria 3-0 at the Royal Dublin Society Arena. And the Academy graduate, who made his first three senior appearances for the Blues under Mancini, is looking to make an impression on City?s pre-season tour of the United States next month. Cunningham said: ?I?d love to be a part of the pre-season tour to America. I went out there with the Academy a couple of years ago when we took part in a tournament and I really enjoyed it. ?It would be a good chance to catch the manager?s eye and great experience. This season has completely exceeded all my expectations.? What do you think? Have your say.| Submit Comments| Comments (1)| Printable VersionAdd A CommentEnter your comments:
