Craig Bellamy delighted with Manchester City's mental revolution
Craig Bellamy has hailed Manchester City's mental strength as key to their impressive start to the season.
The Citizens spent big on bringing quality players to Eastlands over the summer and the Wales striker believes they bought a winning attitude as much as silky skills.
Results have shown on the pitch, with Mark Hughes' team winning all four of their opening Barclays Premier League matches this term.
“We are tougher and stronger,” said Bellamy, who joined from West Ham in January and has seen plenty of changes since. “There is a big difference from when I walked through the door.
"We had an abundance of quality and could rip teams apart last season but were also capable of not tracking runners and not picking up the points we may be should have done on occasions.
“The quality of player that has come in has improved the mentality there is no doubt about that.”
