City's Johnson left out by Fabio
Manchester City midfielder Adam Johnson has been left out of England's World Cup squad, although three City players do make Capello's final 23.[LNB] Johnson had been named in the initial 30-man training squad for the friendlies against Mexico and Japan but has failed to make the plane for South Africa.[LNB]Having been tipped for an outside bet for a place, Johnson played just five minutes against Mexico on his debut and did not appear in the game with Japan.[LNB]His fellow winger Shaun Wright-Phillips has been selected by Capello, and will be joined in South Africa by City team-mates Joe Hart and Gareth Barry.
