Carlos Tevez will not leave Manchester City unless another club can match the Blues' valuation of him, understood to be around £50million.[LNB] City officials have responded to Tevez's latest attempt to sever ties with the club with a resigned shrug, though, relaxed in the knowledge that the former Manchester United star has three years remaining on a contract that is estimated to be worth in excess of £200,000 a week.[LNB]It means they have no reason to allow him to leave on the cheap, and have absolutely no intention of doing so.[LNB]There has been no official response to Monday night's announcement from a player currently appearing for Argentina at the Copa America, and it seems there is unlikely to be so just yet.[LNB]The player cited a desire to be closer to his daughters Katie and Florencia as the reason why he wants to leave the club.
