Shaun Wright-Phillips has been ruled out of Manchester City's match against Tottenham Hotspur and faces a race to be fit for the final game of the season. England winger Wright-Phillips has not featured for City since 9th April due to an ankle injury, and he suffered a setback prior to the Manchester derby defeat on Sunday. The 27-year-old will now definitely miss out at White Hart Lane this weekend, although City boss Hughes is hopeful he will be fit ahead of the campaign finale at home to Bolton Wanderers. Hughes told the club's official website: "He had a setback last week, he had a bang on his knee which really stopped him in his tracks when that happened. "He was not anywhere near being fit for Sunday unfortunately, but we hope that the knee will settle down and that he will be an option for us for next week".
