Mancini is a big admirer of the lanky Swedish striker from their two title-winning season together at Inter Milan, and City have shown they are not afraid to go for Europe's top names. Barca paid £34m for Valencia striker Villa, and are said to be lining up a £30m swoop for Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas. But they tend to sell in order to off-set such extreme outlay, as they did last summer, when they paid out £42m for Ibrahimovic, sending City target Samuel Eto'o the other way to make the deal worth £62m. That made Ibrahimovic the second most expensive footballer on the planet, and City would have to come close to that fee to prise him away from the Nou Camp. The Blues are also being linked with Argentina Under-20 international Ezequiel Munoz, of Boca Juniors. The 20-year-old central defender has been pursued by Italian outfit Fiorentina for a year. Should City go for Ibrahimovic? Have your say. | Submit Comments| Comments (65)| Printable VersionAdd A CommentEnter your comments:Type your comment here...
