Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has returned to training with the squad after six weeks out injured.
The Belgium defender picked up a thigh injury in the 3-1 win over Everton on 5 October, but trained at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.
But he will not be fit enough to play a part in the club's Champions League tie at home to Viktoria Plzen on Wednesday.
David Silva, Stevan Jovetic and Jack Rodwell were all absent from training.
