City renew interest in Fiorentina winger Cerci

Manchester City are preparing to make a renewed bid for Fiorentina winger Alessio Cerci once the transfer window opens again in January. Roberto Mancini is a big fan of the winger and has been chasing his signature for the past year.

The Italian is earning rave reviews in his home country and Man City are ready to make a bid of around £20million. Despite the interest, Cerci has insisted his focus is entirely on Fiorentina. ""It was a real pleasure to be linked with a club who are as important as Manchester City, but Fiorentina are my present and future."
