The agent of Romanian defender Stefan Radu's has claimed the Lazio star has been targeted by free-spending Manchester City.[LNB] The big-spending Premier League outfit signed left-back Aleksandar Kolarov from Lazio for £16million this summer and Radu's agent, Victor Becali, insists City have now made an approach for his client.[LNB]"Stefan has another two years on his contract with Lazio but there is a valid offer from Manchester City," Becali told adevarul.ro.[LNB]"Coach Roberto Mancini knows the Italian championship and Radu, and when City played in Timisoara in the Europa League, Mancini met my brother (to talk about Radu)."[LNB]The Romanian defender, who turns 24 on Friday, can play at centre-half and left-back, and joined Lazio in 2008 from Dinamo Bucharest after a successful loan spell.[LNB]The nine-cap international began to catch the eye last season, when only Kolarov and Stefano Mauri made more Serie A starts for Lazio than Radu's 28, and he has been an ever-present so far this term, helping the Biancocelesti become league leaders after seven games.[LNB]"Radu is 24 years old, last year he played well and this year he's playing very well," Becali added to tuttomercatoweb.[LNB]"In my opinion he is therefore definitely ready for a big club like Juventus, AC Milan or Inter, but we haven't talked with them."
