Yaya Toure's agent says he will seal a move to Manchester City this week, while City are close to reaching an agreement for David Silva.[LNB] Ivory Coast midfielder Toure was expected to seal a move earlier this month, but the player's participation in the World Cup and the change of presidents at Barcelona have slowed down the transfer.[LNB]But new Barca chief Sandro Rosell takes over from outgoing president Joan Laporta on Thursday and the move should be finalised shortly after that.[LNB]"I think we will have a solution this week. In fact, I would say that (it will be done) on the first or second of July - maybe on the second because the first will be a very busy day at Barca with the change of president," agent Dimitri Seluk told Sport.[LNB]Seluk revealed he will speak to Rosell, but insisted his player's mind is made up to leave Barca and join City.[LNB]"Yes, we have to talk, but of course, the reality is not going to change in one moment," he said. "Yaya wants to play the important games and he knows that he will be an important player at Manchester City.[LNB]"It is not a money problem, as I have said 1,000 times, but a problem of (the lack of) confidence (that Barca have in him)."[LNB]Seluk said nothing had been signed yet, but claimed Toure's salary demands were reasonable.[LNB]"I haven't signed anything. However, Yaya doesn't have an astronomical salary, not at all, so it won't be difficult to be reach an agreement," he said.[LNB]Reports in Spain, meanwhile, suggest City are close to reaching an agreement for Valencia winger Silva.[LNB]The Blues have been strongly linked with the Spain international for some time and are believed to be edging closer to striking a deal.[LNB]The tricky winger is currently away on international duty with Spain at the World Cup finals, but is well aware of the furore surrounding his future.[LNB]With his domestic employers known to be struggling financially, Silva has accepted that the time may have come to move on from the Mestalla.[LNB]That has alerted numerous clubs to his availability and, with money no problem, City have leapt to the front of the queue.[LNB]The Blues' chief executive Garry Cook is reported to have travelled to Spain for talks with Valencia president Manuel Llorente on Monday, in an effort to thrash out a deal.[LNB]It is believed that City are looking to use Roque Santa Cruz as a makeweight in the transfer, with the Paraguayan striker having slipped down the pecking order at Eastlands.[LNB]Valencia are thought to be keen on the idea, having been left short on attacking options after selling David Villa to Barcelona and Nikola Zigic to Birmingham.[LNB]They are willing to take the South American on loan, with the view to a permanent deal being struck next summer.[LNB]Los Che are also keen for City to help carry the financial burden of such a deal and are looking for them to continue paying around 20 per cent of Santa Cruz's wages.
