City closing in on Savic deal

Manchester City are believed to be closing in on the capture of Stefan Savic from Partizan Belgrade.[LNB] The Serbian champions have now confirmed that talks are on-going with City over the Montenegro international, and it is believed a deal could be done before the weekend.[LNB]City boss Roberto Mancini revealed to the Italian media over the weekend that a deal for Savic was 'done'.[LNB]And although not yet complete, it appears City are set to finalise the capture of the 20-year-old central defender.[LNB]"Talks with Manchester City are on-going," stated Partizan's general secretary Darko Grubor told Beta.[LNB]"It is true that they want him, but we will see when it is done.[LNB]"Everything is just a matter of agreement, but as I said it is not done yet."[LNB]City are yet to sign anyone this summer, but they could very well announce two new signings this week in the shape of Savic and Gael Clichy.[LNB]
