Child's play for Carlos Tevez as he puts personal nightmare behind him in Manchester City win

Carlos Tevez put his personal crisis behind him with a superb two-goal performance in Manchester City's incredible victory. [LNB]While the world had been focusing on the grudge match between John Terry and Wayne Bridge, Tevez had spent two weeks in his native Argentina at the bedside of his daughter, Katia, who was seriously ill in intensive care after being born prematurely. [LNB]But, despite having returned to England only on Friday, Tevez led the line superbly and fully deserved his two goals, his 20th and 21st of the season. [LNB] Spot on: Carloz Tevez scored a penalty to give Man City a 3-1 lead at the Bridge [LNB]'My week has been difficult, caring for my baby,' said Tevez, who celebrated his first goal with a thumb-sucking gesture as a dedication to Katia.'She is OK now and we play.' [LNB]City manager Roberto Mancini, whose comments about Tevez's absence had been interpreted by some as insensitive, was able to joke afterwards. 'He played very well,' said Mancini, for whom the result was a welcome boost after reports of dressing-room unrest over his tough training schedule. [LNB] Confrontation: Carlos Tevez squares up to Chelsea skipper John Terry [LNB]'Maybe I will let Carlos Tevez go to Argentina again for two weeks and pick him on the day he comes back. His performance was fantastic.' [LNB]Tevez, who was one of the City players who wore a Team Bridge T-shirt at the first game after the revelations about Terry and Bridge's former partner, Vanessa Perroncel, became public, squared up to the Chelsea captain after a clash in the penalty area just after the hour. [LNB] Flying high: Bridge ran the length of the pitch to celebrate with his team-mates[LNB]Tevez did not shake Terry's hand, leaving the former England captain to pat him on the head. After Tevez had scored the crucial third goal from the penalty spot, Bridge ran half the length of the pitch to join in the celebrations by leaping into a scrum of team-mates. [LNB]He and Tevez then embraced and the Argentina star looked to the City fans and pointed to his teammate in an obvious display of solidarity.[LNB] Terry blasted by Bellamy as Man City firebrand says: 'I know what JT is like'Chelsea 2 Manchester City 4: John Terry shunned by Wayne Bridge as Carlos Tevez and Craig Bellamy humble nine menManchester City defender Wayne Bridge REFUSES to shake John Terry's hand as the pair come face-to-face for the first time at ChelseaCHELSEA FC
