Chelsea skipper John Terry tells Man City to forget £20m summer move

John Terry has warned Manchester City off renewing a bid for him in the summer. City enquired about the Chelsea captain in January and had been expected to make another £20million approach in the summer. Terry was handed a special commitment gong at Chelsea's awards dinner to recognise the 14 years he has spent so far at the club. Frank Lampard won player of the year and Ashley Cole was named players' player of the year. And Terry took the opportunity to pledge his future to the club. 'I want to stay at Chelsea for all of my career,' Terry told the London Evening Standard. 'I take an awful lot of pride in being a one-club man, there are not a lot of players these days that stay at one club.' His fellow central defender Ricardo Carvalho has also confirmed he wants to stay at Chelsea after reports linked him with a move to Inter Milan.
