Chelsea have reportedly made an approach to AC Milan for coach Carlo Ancelotti in a move that could also snare Kaka. Ancelotti held talks with San Siro vice-president Adriano Galliani, according to the extraordinary claims in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport. The former international midfielder is also the favourite to take over at Real Madrid come the end of the season. In any case, there may be no vacancy at Stamford Bridge is Guus Hiddink is convinced to carry on when his contract runs out at the end of May. But Ancelotti does provide a route to Kaka. The brilliant Brazil playmaker is thought to have been surprised that Milan accepted a £100million bid for him from Manchester City in January.  Real Madrid, long-term admirers of the 26-year-old, also sense the time is right to woo him to the Bernabeu, especially if they can tempt Ancelotti to replace Juande Ramos at the end of the season.
