Carlos Tevéz issues Argentina quit threat over criticism

Argentina's players and coach Diego Maradona have been heavily criticised, despite qualifying for the World Cup this week. [LNB]Manchester City forward Tevéz said: "When I play for Argentina I spend more time suffering than enjoying myself. The fans insulted us, the journalists criticised everything... I'm tired of all that. World champions Italy are fourth. England are seventh. [LNB]The seeded teams for the play-offs that will decide the final four European nations going to next year's tournament in South Africa are France, Portugal, Russia and Greece. [LNB]France moved up a place to No 9, Portugal climbed seven spots to No 10, Russia dropped six places to No 12, while Greece are ranked No 16. [LNB]They will be drawn against four non-seeded teams, Ukraine, the Republic of Ireland, Bosnia and Slovenia. [LNB]The play-off draw will be made on Monday at Fifa headquarters in Zurich. The home-and-away matches are on Nov 15 and 18. [LNB]
