Things are looking up for Carlos Tevez. After spending last week training on his lonesome, the Manchester City rebel was back among friends on Wednesday - or should we say friend.

While his team-mates were recovering after their hard-fought win over Villarreal, the Argentina international, who earns in excess of ?200,000-a-week, was larking about at City's Carrington Ground training pitches.

We know, it's a tough gig isn't it?

Tevez was suspended for two weeks after allegedly refusing to come off the bench in City's 2-0 defeat at Bayern Munich.

Perhaps Roberto Mancini should have bribed the former West Ham and Manchester United striker with a free reign of the head-tennis arena at Carrington Training Ground.

Judging by these pictures Tevez would have jumped off the bench quicker than the Italian could have said "game, set and match".
