Carling Cup games to clash
CITY and United will play at home on the same night later this month. Although the situation is not completely unknown, it is rare and had been resisted by Greater Manchester Police, who were no doubt mindful of the ugly scenes at West Ham's Carling Cup match against Millwall last week.
