Burley wants to be loan ar-Ranger

George Burley is keen to lure Premier League youngsters Nile Ranger and Ryan McGivern to Crystal Palace on loan this summer.[LNB] Newcastle United striker Ranger and Manchester City full-back McGivern are both expected to struggle for regular first-team football this season.[LNB]Ranger has been tipped to leave Newcastle on loan to build up his first-team experience and has now emerged as a target for Palace.[LNB]McGivern, who spent last season on loan at Leicester City, has attracted interest from Oldham Athletic, but could have the option of another stint in the Championship.[LNB]Burley has confirmed his interest in the duo and is now waiting to see whether his enquiries will come to fruition.[LNB]"I have spoken to Newcastle about Ranger and he is one we're looking at," the Palace boss told the South London Press. "We need to bring in another striker. [LNB]"Ryan is another that has been mentioned. We've made no secret that we are trying to bring a left-back in and he is on our list."
