Bolton midfielder Stuart Holden a doubt for Manchester City clash due to niggling thigh problem

Bolton's in-form midfielder Stuart Holden could be facing another weekend on the sidelines.

Holden remains doubtful for the Barclays Premier League match against Manchester City on Saturday at Eastlands after suffering a thigh strain.

The United States international was forced to sit out the 2-2 draw with Blackpool because of the problem.

Manager Owen Coyle said: 'Stuart Holden missed out last week - he has been very influential for us. He hasn't trained up to this point so we will give him the next couple of days to see where he is at and take it from there.'
