Manchester City striker Felipe Caicedo has revealed he is considering offers from West Ham and Sporting. The 20-year-old Ecuador international has shown promise since his £5.2 million move from Basel last year, but there have been suggestions that he could move on this summer. Portuguese newspaper Record recently suggested Sporting could be ready to offer £4.23m (5 million euros) for the player or even an exchange deal involving Miguel Veloso but, although Caicedo has confirmed they are interested, he said negotiations are at a very early stage. 'I received a call from the people at Sporting,' he told El Telegrafo. 'They want me to play there - they are a great team and they are in the Champions League. 'There is still nothing concrete, but they told me that they have already spoken to the officials at City.' He added: 'Manchester City have made it very clear that if any team wants me, they will have to buy me and not take me on loan. 'I don't know how much they are asking, but I don't think it will be any less than the $12 million they paid to Basel. 'If one offer were better than the other, I doubt I would reject it. There are several offers - not just Sporting. There's a number of clubs in Portugal, Spain and also England. The only English club I can name is West Ham.' Despite the offers, though, Caicedo says he expects to be at Eastlands next season. 'I think for now I will continue in Manchester. I've been told that I'm going to stay here, plus I have a contract with more than three years remaining at City. 'I would like to stay in England because I have settled down there. I've been living in this city for a year and a half and I have everything I want here. 'But football and life are like that - you can't stay in the same place forever.'
