Bojinov on comeback trail

Manchester City striker Valeri Bojinov has returned to action for the first time in six months.[LNB] The Bulgarian has suffered a horrendous run of luck since joining City in 2007.[LNB]In just his third Premier League game he suffered knee ligament damage, which ended his season.[LNB]He battled back to full fitness only to tear his Achilles tendon almost 12 months on from his first injury.[LNB]Now Bojinov is again approaching fitness as he played for City's second string on Tuesday.[LNB]City boss Mark Hughes will hope he will soon be able to call on the 23-year-old, who has made one start for the club.[LNB]
