Bluebirds snare Etuhu

Cardiff have snapped up Manchester City forward Kelvin Etuhu on a season-long loan deal. Premier League duo Wolves and Portsmouth had reportedly been interested in the 21-year-old but it is Cardiff who have won the chase for his signature. Etuhu, who has previously had loan spells with Rochdale and Leicester, could make his debut in Sunday's clash with Bristol City. Bluebirds boss Dave Jones is delighted to have captured the youngster and feels he will be successful in the Championship. "We are really pleased to get Kelvin - he is a Premier League player coming into the club," Jones told the club's official website. "It looked like he was going to Wolves, but there was a hitch and we stepped in to bring him here. "He is a big pacey lad who will give us options across the front line."
