lue Moon Rising is the brilliant new film covering the story of Manchester City's 2009/10 season - find out where to watch it.[LNB] Following the celebrity packed 'Blue Carpet launch' last week, Blue Moon Rising has been hailed as much more than a football film - and now you can judge for yourself as the brilliant story of Manchester City's 2009/10 season hits cinemas across the UK.[LNB]After 34 years without a trophy, Manchester City fans were given new hope following the takeover by Sheik Mansour, the club signed star players and, after many years, had the means to compete with the rest of the Premier League.[LNB]Viewed through the eyes of five passionate City fans, Blue Moon Rising follows the 2009/10 season at the club and tells the story every football fan experiences - the highs and lows, the pain and glory and how events on the pitch can affect their everyday lives.[LNB]Combined with unique insight to players and the management are the personal stories of a group of dedicated City fans. We'll see how their passion for City affects their everyday lives - their work, their relationships and even their love lives.[LNB]Among them, there's Steve, whose obsession to watch City sees him drive the group of friends all over the country in a battered old Renault Espace called 'Helios'. His daughter, four-year-old Keira, has been brought up to believe that anything to do with the colour red is 'disgusting' - leading her to throw away anything of that colour, from crayons to hair bands.[LNB]Another member of the group is Pete, whose City-loving father died last year, who talks movingly of just what the club means to him and how bittersweet future success might be.[LNB]Nick London, Blue Moon Rising Producer, said: "Blue Moon Rising is much more than a film about Manchester City, it's about the emotion that every football fan experiences over the course of the season. Supporters of any club will relate to the story, from the hope and optimism that the start of the season brings through to the pain of derby day defeats and the impact their teams results have on their personal lives.[LNB]"With access to the club combined with the compelling story of the fans themselves, Blue Moon Rising is a truly unique film that beautifully captures what following football is all about."
