Big bucks City deny approach for German legend Klinsmann

Manchester City have denied they have been in contact with Jurgen Klinsmann [LNB] Manchester City[LNB]last night issued a firm denial to reports in Germany that they have approached Jurgen Klinsmann to take over at Eastlands next season.[LNB]With pressure mounting on manager Mark Hughes, City were said to have started sounding out prospective candidates, also including Luiz Felipe Scolari, but the club maintain that Hughes has their full support.[LNB]Bayern Munich boss Klinsmann's name had been suggested following claims that a  trusted aide has been contacted to determine whether the former Germany boss would be interested in taking over at the end of this season.[LNB]A target for Liverpool last season, Klinsmann is aware of thedevelopment and reacted to it yesterday by saying: 'I always tell my players, like Franck Ribery, that if there is speculation about other clubs wanting you, it is a compliment to Bayern and yourself.[LNB]'If you hear of an offer, you must be flattered, and it applies to managers and coaches as much as players.
