Bellarabi on City's radar as four other clubs weigh up moves for the influential German winger

Manchester City are keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen’s German starlet Karim Bellarabi.

The 24-year old winger has broken into the Germany first team this season and the youngster played the full 90 minutes in Germany’s recent Euro 2016 qualifier defeat against Poland.

It is understood that five Premier League clubs, including Newcastle are watching the former Eintracht Braunschweig playmaker. Newcastle, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United all had scouts at Leverkusen’s recent 2-0 Champion’s league home win against Russian side Zenit St Petersburg to see how Bellarabi performed.

Bellarabi has been one of the stand out players in the Bundesliga this season and has helped Leverkusen make a good start to their league campaign aswell as leading them to the top of group C in the Champion’s league which includes the riches of AS Monaco and Portuguese giants Benfica.
